Understanding the Cognitive Components of Coastal Risk Assessment

Nowadays, erosion and flooding risks represent a serious threat to coastal areas this trend will be worsened due climate change. The increasing concentration of population in has negative impact on the ecosystem change land use exploitation natural resources, which also increased exposure hazards. Risk assessment is hence primary topic are often affected by mismanagement competition interest between stakeholders. This paper presents an integrated model for risk as well its application test site Puglia Region (Southern Italy).
